Fear paralyses, Fear kills, Fear steals the thrills

Fear steals clarity and brings calamity

Fear is painful, Fear is a big regret that many don't meet their target

All of us have feared something or the other. Esp. during the last 3 years of Covid, which has been the numero uno killer! Fear makes us nervous, nervous makes us anxious, anxious brings boredom, boredom takes away your freedom.


After facing this music of fear several times, I managed to come up with a D.I.C.T.I.O.N.A.R.Y that helps us cope with fear and still take action. Will this cure fear? No. Will this help with fear? Definitely.


D: D.O.T Principle: Do 1 thing at a time, Say No to multi-task, also, Don't Over Think

I: I.O.N Principle: Ignore Outside Noise. This is the biggest catalyst to face Fear

C: Chuck your phone in the morning and at night - Yes, Don't Touch your phone first thing when you wake up and don't touch it before you sleep

T: Train your brain - Biggest and most successful way is to meditate. As you meditate, imagine the fear that is currently in your mind and think of various ways to overcome it.

I: Intense Breathing helps to reduce fear. See Wim Hof breathing for more details

O: One task for 20 mins. Don't do anything else. Just 1 task

N: No to what you cannot/ don't want

A: Affirm, Re-affirm, Repeat, fight fear with logic and repetition

R: Read, Re-charge, take a walk, get out of that place where you feel scared

Y: Say Y.E.S to all that you want. Whenever Fear strikes, Fight it with Logic
